Northern Woodland River Tour

1 1/2 hour trip—$75 per person (6 person max)

Come and see what the Grand River looked like a hundred years ago. Learn about the diverse environment of the area and explore nature up close. You may see Michigan osprey and bald eagles that call this river home. You will frequently see deer and other wild creatures that play in or around the water. The entire family will enjoy seeing the vast variety of birds and aquatic insects. You will also experience incredible plant life in that setting.  From tall pines, majestic oaks, and sugar maples that line the river to the wildflowers and arrowhead plants, you will be awed at the beauty the river’s flora holds.

Skyline River Tour

1 1/2 hour trip—$75 per person (6 person max)

See the beautiful skyline of Grand Rapids from the river as only seen by a few. Observe the industrial and historical areas that have made Grand Rapids what it is today. Experience Michigan’s second-largest city which was built by English and French explorers. The Grand River was the “highway” that supported the former thriving fur trade as well as the successful furniture industry. You will view historic industrial buildings that have been renovated into 21st-century urban homes and impressive modern high rises.

Fishing Tours

2 hours ($400 per trip for 2 people) or 5 hours  ($500 per trip for 2 people). 2 person max.

During summer, experience some of the best smallmouth bass fishing in the entire state! Whether using traditional gear or fly fishing, you will learn new techniques and strategies to be successful on the water. Top water smallmouth bass fishing can be explosive and exhilarating.  The water erupts as the fish attacks the lure and jumps with excitement. Experience this overwhelming moment as the fish crushes its prey.  Any necessary fishing gear you might need will be provided. 

Limited fishing tours are available in the spring and fall for steelhead. You will have an opportunity to catch fish while enjoying the sights and sounds of the largest river in Michigan’s lower peninsula.
